Copper Lugs and Splices
nVent NFC compression lugs and splices, LNF and BNF Series, are engineered to deliver safe, reliable, and long-lasting electrical connections in low-voltage installations. Designed for consistent electrical and mechanical performance, these compression connectors create permanent connections when installed using the TaskMaster tools and nVent Hex Dies.
Once crimped, the connector forms a compact, high-integrity interface that ensures stable contact resistance, excellent conductivity, and strong mechanical retention throughout the lifetime of the installation. nVent compression solutions are suitable for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and infrastructure applications.
LNF and BNF Series are manufactured from tin-plated electrolytic copper and are tested in accordance with NFC 20-130, validating performance under electrical and mechanical load, thermal cycling, and short-circuit conditions.
For applications following French installation practices, nVent offers NFC compression lugs and splices developed in accordance with NFC 20-130. This standard defines the application and dimensional requirements for copper compression connectors used in low-voltage electrical installations.
nVent NFC products are suitable for Class 2 and Class 5 copper conductors in accordance with IEC 60228 and cover conductor cross-sections from 16 to 400 mm², ensuring full compatibility with French electrical requirements. The portfolio includes lugs, splices, and supporting tooling solutions, providing installers and specifiers with a fully compliant and dependable connection system.
nVent NFC lugs and splices are designed for hexagonal compression crimping using engineered tooling. For reliable, standards-compliant connections, nVent recommends using matched tools, dies, and connectors.
