Commercial Wireway Type 1 with New Snap Connect Design

The Lay-In Flat-Cover Type 1 wireway in both galvanized and painted finishes has been redesigned to feature a convenient “snap” fit connection, making installation quicker and easier. At this time, the feature enhancement is limited to the 4.00 x 4.00 inch and 6.00 x 6.00 inch solution sizes, present on all wireway Straight Section lengths as well as the joining U-Connectors. The “snap” fit design brings the following:

• Straight Section retention and self-alignment of U-Connector
• Elimination of 4 internally fastened nuts per connection
• Multi tool screw head(s) for flexible installation
• Backwards compatibility with legacy design
